DESCRIPTION

3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, lakefront property on Lower Buckhorn Lake. Large cedar deck with Weber gas BBQ, table seating for 8 and muskoka chairs for relaxing. Onsite rowboat, canoe, paddleboat and a pair of junior kayaks.

Open concept design, with two large principal rooms with ample windows and view to the water. The first principal room is the kitchen/dining room, which has a sitting area and wood burning stove with a sliding door to the deck. Kitchen has refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven coffee grinder and drip filter coffee maker.

The second principal room has two comfy couches and occasional chairs, a flat screen TV with a Blu Ray player for watching movies and a game table.

The washroom has a shower enclosure, sink and toilet.

The first bedroom has a queen size bed. Bedroom two has a double and two twins (upper & lower bunkbed) and a dresser while the third bedroom has two double beds and a dresser. Overall occupancy can sleep 8 people comfortably.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

Most importantly is the great view from the property to Buckhorn Lake from the cedar deck or down by the dock.

The Kawarthas and Buckhorn offer art galleries, antique stores, the Kawartha Winery and gift shops and attractions. Shopping is handy in either Lakefield or Bridgenorth. Petroglyphs Provincial Park is nearby.

RENTAL RATES & INFORMATION

For a week rental, we prefer Saturday to Saturday, but we will certainly try to accomodate if you require other arrangements. Departure time is by 10:00 am the following Saturday. Price is $1380

No weekend-only rentals. Maximum 8 guests for sleeping over.

Must be 23 years of age to rent. Deposit - a $500 damage deposit is required to hold a rental. Deposit is forfeited if rules are broken, or if less than 30 days notice provided. Pillows and some blankets are provided, please bring your own linens and towels.
